It is our policy to work with small, local specialist operators at each destination. We do this for two reasons. Firstly, this means that you are able to get in touch with someone who understands and appreciates the culture of the country you are touring at all times while you are on the trip. Secondly, at World Walks, we believe in supporting the local businesses of the countries where we send our customers. Here are a few examples of who we work with:
For the Camino route in France and Spain, we work with Alexandra and her husband Phillipe, who have specialized knowledge of the whole of the South of France and of Catalonia. We have worked with them for over a decade. In Tuscany, we work with Giovanni and Michela, who are both experienced mountain guides and custodians of the local National Park. They have just bought thirty-two donkeys in order to offer family walking holidays from 2013. They have been looking after our customers in the region for many years. In the Cotswolds, we work with Cotswold Journeys, which is run by people who have created several original, self-guided routes in the area. They are the specialists in the Cotswolds.
For our marketing, we work with the digital marketing specialists, Boss Digital.
