We have a choice of holidays where you can walk through some of the most famous wine growing areas of Europe, enjoying the region’s wines, panoramas and villages. Our vineyard tours in France take you through regions such as The Beaujolais which happens to be excellent for walking, offering beautiful countryside in the form of valleys, rivers, hillside paths and forest as well as châteaux, churches and chapels.
You can explore the vineyards of the Bordeaux area on one of our wine walking holidays where you traverse the countryside on foot from the Vineyards of St Emilion to the Sauternes, crossing the Entre-Deux-Mers area and encountering wineries along the way, staying in welcoming guesthouses each evening. Perhaps you’d like to go further afield to South Africa and go on our valley wine tours there, through the Cape region and the winelands, complete with its picturesque vineyards and unique and fascinating wildlife.
If you like the idea of a wine tasting holiday, and enjoy walking as well, a wine tour could be an ideal choice. The countryside in wine growing regions often makes for fantastic walking but there is the added dimension of experiencing what these regions can offer. The heritage, wineries and culture are also a fascinating aspect of these holidays.
